This is my monthly rant. Buyer clients and I were viewing townhomes in Lincoln Park, Lake View, and Old Town.  We arrived at one of our appointments, the listing agent met us on time, and we began the tour.  All good so far.  Here is how it went…

This is the downstairs bathroom.  And this is the family room.  This is the kitchen and living room…

And on and on.  You get the picture.  Listing agents, please, don’t state the obvious.  Your clients are paying you for more than that.  For every room, define a significant attribute worth talking about that is not OBVIOUS.  At my age, I have seen enough bathrooms to know what one looks like.  OK, now I’m done.
