Sold a great Lincoln Square listing a couple weeks ago.  A couple days before closing, the buyer walked through the property and noticed a number of paint cans left by my clients. The paint of course, was the color scheme my clients had chosen for the home. The buyers had different ideas and wanted the paint cans removed. No problem I said, I will throw them away. To my dismay, I learned I just couldn’t toss these in the Chicago city garbage barrels in the alley. So what are the options of disposing of wet paint and other chemicals? As I found out, the city has drop locations and hosts drop off events throughout the city during the year. I headed over to the facility located at 1150 N. North Branch and disposed of the paint.
