Kroupa Development’s latest condo conversion project, Twenty Nine Thirty Sheridan Tower, in Chicago’s Lake View East neighborhood (North: Sheridan, South: Diversey, West: Halsted, East: The Lake) began sales this past weekend. Several of my clients have purchased in Kroupa’s other new conversions in the area and been quite happy. Locations are top notch, floorplans tend to be excellent, price points are decent, and finishes are nice. Great appeal especially to Chicago first time home buyers. Located at 2930 N. Sheridan, in Lake View East, the conversion will feature 252 one and two bedroom floorplans. One bedrooms are priced from $189,900, two bedrooms are priced from $249,900, and parking is an additional $30,000. This project is a bit different than prior projects as clients are being offered the option of buying units as-is or renovated. Delivery of the first units is anticipated to be in the April timeframe. Check out the sales center site. My parents bought a condo here that I live in and we have had nothing but problems with Harwood. They have not finished the punchlist and are doing shotty work and are trying to weasel out of punchlist items that need to be completed. I would not recommend buying in this building or in any Kroupa Development and Harwood Contractor.
