I took some buyer clients out this weekend to see about 8 properties. I didn’t plan it, but every property we saw had a seller who had either moved out or had purchased another home. During showings, each listing agent made sure to let us know this fact and reinforce it with the phrase, “my clients are motivated.” Chicago sellers, are you really motivated or are your listing agents just trying to generate offers? Time and market stats will shed some light on this.
