Parkside of Old Town, developed by Kimball Hill Urban Centers / Holsten RE Development, will be constructed on part of the Cabrini Green site in Chicago’s Old Town neighborhood. Marketing has been ongong for the past several months, I think. I have to head over there for a full preview, as the marketing effort has been kind of low profile. The 760 unit development will feature homes priced from the low $200’s for a condo and mid $500’s for a townhome. Info available online and in print is vague at best. The following comes from the Metropolitan Planning Council Website:
Plans have been recently unveiled for Parkside of Old Town, which will provide 359 homes in the area bounded by Clybourn, Larrabee, Division and Oak. By construction end, this community will have provided a total of 359 market-rate, 144 affordable, and 215 public housing homes. The first homes are scheduled to be delivered by 2007.
Floorplans can be found at the site.  More info to follow.
