When I want a lunchtime treat, one of my favorite noontime stops is Branko’s Sandwich Shop in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood.  Granted, in Chicago there are many places to get a burger and fries, but what sets this place apart for me is the service.  The owners tend the counter and going there is like being invited into their home.  They add a personal touch and in addition to being grateful for your business, they make you feel like they’re glad to meet you. What does this have to do with real estate you ask, well nothing, but it does speak to how exceptional service can set you apart in an industry where it is very tough to differentiate yourself.  A lesson I try to build my real estate practice by.  Now I’m off to grab a burger and fries.
