Excuse the shameless self promotion, but just over six months after the birth/rebirth of  ChitownLiving, we got some press. The article by Mary Umberger of the Chicago Tribune featured blogging in the local Chicago real estate industry today.  Bloggers featured in the article include:

Feelings on blogging ran the gamut. According to some interviewed, there is not a great deal of utility in agent blogging, to others, Chicago is way behind the curve but blogging is a worthwhile endeavor and a great marketing strategy, and to others, a core component of their current marketing plan. Will blogging prove worthwhile or be lost in the noise just like the static agent website? Who knows, but at least I’m having some fun doing it and hopefully providing some entertaining and useful information.
