Amazing how quickly things change in real estate. I wrote a post back in October of 2006 titled Condos Instead of Cupcakes. At that time the plan was to put condos, townhomes, and single family homes on the former Hostess site at the southwest corner of Diversey and Lakewood which is on the northern boundary of Chicago’s Lincoln Park Community Area. Appears this is no longer the case as the land is now being marketed as individual single family lots.  Lot and a half and double lot options are being offered. Here are the listing remarks…
