Chicago real estate stats  for April are finally posted.  Better late than never.  Some quick comments:

Attached sales volumes are fairly flat at 1,648 in April 2006 vs. 1,674 in April 2007.  Median prices are up slightly from $301,600 to $312,500.

2006 Chicago Home Price Analysis Report

The National Association of Realtors recently released their 2006 Chicago Home Price Analysis Report.  Data in the report is through July 2006.  Topics in the report include:

The health of the local job market
The prevalence of “nontraditional” home financing options
Debt-to-income ratios
